Urban
Here are 2 clips from Saturdays urban session. First is an accidental firecracker to some serious heavy head. Second is a land. I didn’t get any tricks besides the skislide, city rails aren’t as easy as they look!

Snow in the City!
North Vancouver is a gold mine for handrails, but since we rarely get snow these rails don’t often see any action. Well we finally had some snow fall last night so Trint Thomas (newest Endeavor Am), Jeremy Cox and myself got down to work right away before the snow melted. We set up a 14-flat-11 stair down-flat-down. It’s a rail in my neighborhood that I’ve been looking to ski for the last couple of years.
Video clips to come, but for now here’s some behind the scenes shots from the session.

Jeremy getting the shot.

Trint about to drop in.

Nipwitz
Have you ever heard of Nipwitz? If not, you will soon. These guys from Finland are set to burst onto the scene this season. Churning out multiple webisodes all last season, all of which match the quality of big hitters like Level 1, these creative jibbers are taking urban, and filmmaking, to the next level. Here is their first webisode of the season:
Check out their website for information and updates, and you can watch their epidodes from last year here.
And you probably don’t need me to tell you this, but the park crew is killing it right now. I was up Monday night, new features include super fun cannon pontoon, elbow kink in a new place, and a soon-to-be-open rebuilt #4 jump on the cut line. And Y2Plays are now on sale too, so get up here!

Snow in the City!
As I’m sure you saw, Vancouver has recently been blanketed with a covering of fluffy white snow. And what do we do when it snows in the city? Slide some handrails! On Sunday, with a crew composed of Myself, Shawn Greensides, Christopher Peake and Ben Funk, we headed out to do a little bit of urban. Though it turned out to be a little wet, we still had a great time, and hit some features we’ve been looking at for awhile. Everyone got some tricks they were stoked on, and all in all it was a great day! Below is a little edit of all the great crashes from the day.
And with all this new snow, Grouse is in PRIME condition. Bye for now!
Absinthe Films Flipside Series
The guys at Absinthe are going above and beyond the line of duty with their Flipside Series. These videos are 10-12 minute episodes that cover a bunch of cool behind the scenes stuff. Everything from camera stuff, to setups, to bone crushing falls, they always have something awesome in each episode. This particular one shows Dan Brisse and his crazy Utah urban, this is one of my favourites!

TC just released their third episode of their sixth season, one of the best ones to date. In this episode, Ross Imburgia joins Will and Andy for some creative urban and an interesting PVC setup. Enjoy.
Also check out LineTravellingCircus.com for all the past episodes from the previous two seasons.

SNOWDEO !?
Coming this February, Snowdeo is a two day railjam competition happening at Swanguard stadium. That’s right Swanguard stadium is going to be turned into a full-on urban park with features including rails, fences, a wall ride, a step-down jump and more.
The railjam will be the biggest of its kind in the lower main land with riders from all across North America competing for $20,000 of prizes. The event will also include entertainment, a beer garden, and DJ’s such as My!Gay!Husband! and The Hood Internet.
Organizers are expecting crowds of 5,000 a day during the two day event and are hoping to make this an annual event for the following years.

Hailing from North Bay, ONT, Jesmond Dubeau will be participating in Rail jam, Snowdeo.
It’s going to be a killer weekend and there’s no doubt that the riders are going to be throwing down at this event.
For more Information check out www.snowdeo.ca
That’s all for now,
Andrew.
