Foggy Photos

To get to the point, I’ve had a pretty itchy trigger finger the past few weeks. I got sick of waiting for a sunny weekend to shoot and decided to try my luck in the fog today with Joe Mickelson, Ben Neil and Luciano Babaie. Definitely made the right choice. The fog rolled in and out all day, but it didn’t stop anyone from having a good time or throwing down for the camera. We spent most of the day on the Cut jump line and towards the end made a few laps through Quiksilver. Both are still in pristine condition thanks to the hard workers behind the shovels. Keep on keepin’ on park crew, you’re killing it harder this year than ever before.

Some old snapshots

Unfortunately I have been very busy lately, and when I have been free the weather has not been very cooperative. Because of this all I have to offer for this post is a tandem shot of Joe Mickelson and Mark Heinmiller from Christmas break. I will have some new shots up soon.

Frodo.

First park shots of the year

I recently drained my bank account on something I’ve been trying to get my hands on for quite some time, a 7D. The 28th of December marked the first day I was able to bring it up the mountain and get some shots. I spent the day with Joe Mickelson and Mark Heinmiller, and could not be happier with this camera. Here’s the results.

Joe on the down rail.

Mark boosting the hip.

Joe tossing a rodeo on the hip.

That’s all for now,

Frodo.

Early Season Quiksilver Edit

Near the beginning of the season, Joe Mickelson and I got some filming done in the Quiksilver park.  Despite the cloudy day, we got a lot of filming done with both Ben and Shayan.  However, due to “technical” troubles, the edit has just been re – uploaded.  Excuse the permanent smudge on the wide angle lense. Editing by Joe Mickelson.

Introducing Boss Media

Gung Hay Fat Choy,

Coming at you today with a profile on a media group that is just starting out, but based on their first edit great things will follow.  BOSS Media is ran by Joe Mickelson and Jeremy Cox and do not let their age fool you, these guys will pump out the sick edits.  On the second day of “The Introduction” being online it has 330 plays!  They will have a website (www.bossmedia.ca) up at the end of the week with lots of cool stuff on it.  Every edit they post, I will be posting on here to keep it poppin’. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did…
