Powder Mountain Cat Skiing is going to crown Miss Powder Mountain this Friday, December 5th at the Longhorn in Whistler. The party starts at 9pm for those of age - you can check out the Miss Powder Mountain nominees here.

By now everyone has heard about the controversy surrounding the Burton Love board designs. Thanks also to Highly Obsessed for alerting me to Jake Burton's response yesterday in the Burlington Free Press to the outcry.

Mount Bachelor in Oregon has been able to truck in enough snow to build a little park.

Lastly, a couple of iphone apps have been developed now that publish resort trail maps including Snocator, which apparently uses the GPS feature to tell you where you are on the map, and Podpro, a more basic trail map feature. If anyone has used either of these I'd love to hear from you in the comments. How are they?
