Here it is, a park video brought to my attention by Rob Morrison of park crew of the good times managed in the midst of the good, the bad, the ugly and the worst. We made it! There’s one more weekend left, I will be up there this weekend getting my last laps in with some of my blog homies and other friends. Come by and catch a few laps and join us for an apres at Altitudes. Pray for sun…something besides the apres needs to go right!
One warm day at Grouse, we found the park had melted. So, as the sun set, we pulled out the camera, played on this rail and had just as much fun. Check it out!
Hey guys, for some of you this post may be quite similar to one from a couple moths ago. Anyway here is the final version of the time lapse project my friend and I have been working on. Pretty much entirely diffferent from the original version. The project was filmed over the 2010 Olympics in many various locations across Vancouver. It was all filmed on the HVX – 200 in 2 fps and sped up in post. Hope you enjoy it and feel free to comment.
Thats all for now, check in later for a Whistler edit with Liam Casey and James Anderson.
Near the beginning of the season, Joe Mickelson and I got some filming done in the Quiksilver park. Despite the cloudy day, we got a lot of filming done with both Ben and Shayan. However, due to “technical” troubles, the edit has just been re – uploaded. Excuse the permanent smudge on the wide angle lense. Editing by Joe Mickelson.
Just when you thought you’d seen everything, those crazy skiers have taken over the waves. It seems that regardless of what board sport it is, there is a ski equivalent. Skateboarding has rollerblading, snowboarding has skiing, wakeboarding has wakeskiing, but till now, the OG board sport, surfing, was assumed to be safe. Not the case anymore. The Solomon freeski team has figured out a way to ski waves. In my opinion, it looks pretty ghetto and I hope it goes nowhere, but I’m just biased. Let’s see you guys get a wave without a jet ski. Happy paddling!
Park ranger Chris Dedinsky sent me this gnarly video. If you think you’ve had some pretty hard bails on a snowboard, here’s an example of why skateboarding is, and will always be, more badass than anything on snow.
