The Grouse Mountain Terrain Parks Team

We want to build a personal relationship between our team and you, and we need your participation. Everyone is encouraged to join in the conversation, and you don’t need to register to read or comment. Here are a few of our key players:

Grouse Park Blogospondents

Our Grouse Mountain Terrain Parks Correspondents – The Blogospondents – are some of the brightest and most passionate young minds in Vancouver. They are documenting Grouse Park life and bringing you insightful and breaking industry news from all over the web and all over the world. These guys are the future superstars of the Snow Sports industry.

Sam Masih – Editor

Back for the 2009/10 season – this time not as a Blogospondent but as Editor of grousepark.com – Sam Masih has proven his skills not just in the park but behind the scene and behind the screen. Sam worked the connections as one of our 2008/09 blogospondents last season, wrote some awesome content and has proven he has what it takes to succeed in this industry. We’re thrilled to have him back for another season and look forward to his contributions.

Charlie Grinnell – Senior Production Manager

Another returnee from the 2008/09 season, Charlie provided grousepark.com with almost 80% of its original video content. Charlie also established his network in the film aspect of the industry and is pursuing those avenues further. This year, Charlie is back to contribute as well as serve as a valuable resource for this year’s Blogospondents. We’re excited to see what this season holds in store for Charlie, beside the routine demolition of Little Ceasar’s Hot-n-Ready’s.

Grouse Mountain’s Pro Team

Grouse Mountain’s pro team will be posting throughout the season and sharing some great insider information with you.

Jeff Silcock

Jeff is Grouse Mountain’s Parks & Events Manager and has a huge history with Grouse Mountain. In fact, we hijacked the name GrousePark from him… it’s been his username for just about everything forever. (Sorry Jeff). Jeff has industry connections all over the place. He’s a good guy to know and will post interesting industry news from time to time.

Michelle Evans

Michelle is Grouse Mountain’s Marketing Services Manager and the Creator of grousepark.com. Michelle has worked at Grouse Mountain for over 10 years after getting her start in the industry at Apex Mountain. Now, she’s our tech/geek connection to the online world and enjoys sitting around tweaking wordpress blogs and playing around on twitter and Facebook.

Chris Dagenais

Chris is Grouse Mountain’s Director of Communications. As our executive contingent, he’s often got some super insights the rest of us may not have, so we covet tidbits from him. Plus, he’s here to listen to what you have to say.

The Fine Print

This is the point where we insert the “fine print” and discuss the guidelines for posting. Grouse Park Sessions is a moderated blog because we want to ensure that everyone stays on topic—or at least pretty close to it. We would love for you to post your thoughts, comments, suggestions, and questions, but when you post, make sure that they are of general interest to most readers. Of course, profanity, racial and ethnic slurs, and rude behavior like disparaging personal remarks won’t be tolerated nor published.

Even though Grouse Park Sessions is moderated, we will present opposing viewpoints and we will strive to keep posts interesting, diverse, and multi-sided. Our team wants to engage in a conversation with you, but not every post will receive a response from us. However, we encourage you to respond to our blogospondents and to the comments of other individuals. We also ask that you be patient with our team for a response.

One final disclaimer — Grouse Park Sessions is not the forum to address personal Customer Service issues. All of us have “day jobs,” and we simply don’t have the resources through Grouse Park Sessions to resolve individual concerns. Even though this is not the forum, Grouse Mountain is eager to resolve your concerns. Our Guest Services Representatives want to assist you, and you can contact them here:
